AIMS OF THE COMMUNITY IN THE TREATMENT OF SCHIZOPHRENIA AND OTHER MENTAL ILLNESS
The aim of our group psychotherapy community has always been to reach a better understanding of schizophrenia and other mental illness and to translate this into a successful method of treatment.Our goal is to enable schizophrenics to learn or regain the necessary living skills while receiving schizophrenia treatment within the environment of a nurturing therapeutic community. Through community living and group psychotherapy, each patient with a mental illness develops self-responsibility and satisfying relationships with others.
| | Asha Chettri has received treatment for schizophrenia at the Athma Shakti Vidyalaya center for several years. She has found a new lease on life and is presently working as a school teacher.
