ECONOMICS OF SCHIZOPHRENIA TREATMENT COMMUNITY

The Athma Shakti Vidyalaya Society has always been able to meet the operating expenses of its schizophrenia treatment community.

The society is financed by fees received from patients and by donations from various generous sources who support our holistic psychotherapy type of treatment for people seeking schizophrenia medication.

Besides salaries, one of the main expenses of the schizophrenia treatment community over the years has been renting buildings to house patients suffering mental illness, as well as staff.

A building fund was gradually built up. A piece of land was purchased and a two storey building constructed.

The original plans of the buiding called for a third floor which will be constructed when funds become available.

Another source of income is the funds brought into the schizophrenia treatment community through the self development programs given by staff... self-development, stress management and Transactional Analysis programs for business executives and management trainees seeking schizophrenia medication and treatment.
